We press and dry fresh, local fruit in our family business in Meckenheim in the Palatinate, which we now run in the third generation. We do not use any additives in order to be able to offer our customers a pure natural product.

1960
Foundation
Josef Wolf, as the forefather, founds the Bleichhof as a fruit-growing farm.
1967
Farm sale
Due to the poor prices on the market, Josef Wolf decides to sell his products on the farm in order to be able to achieve economic prices for him.
1988
Sour cherries
In 1988, the first sour cherry plant is established.
1994
Takeover by Jörg Feil
In the 2nd generation, Jörg Feil takes over the fruit-growing business and moves the farm to the northern outskirts of Meckenheim for reasons of space. He expands the farm to include arable farming, vegetable growing and viticulture. The relocation also gave rise to the name Bleichhof, as the bleaching meadows of the town used to be located at the new site.

First website
In 1999, the first Bleichhof website goes online.
1999
Asparagus
Since 1999, the Bleichhof has been growing green and white asparagus.
2000
First apple juice
At the end of the 1990s/beginning of the 2000s we begin to produce our first apple juice.
2000
First apples with red pulp
In 2000, the Weirouge apples are planted for the first time. This apple variety is a pure processing apple, we use it for our red apple chips and red sour varietal apple juice Weirouge.

Specialization
Specialization in fruit growing also takes place in 2000.
2001
First apple chipss
2001: We start the production of apple chips at the Bleichhof.
2002
Apple chips in the online store
The first apple chips are sold through our online store.
2005
Installation of a photovoltaic system
In 2005, a photovoltaic system is installed on the roof of the Bleichhof, which covers almost the entire electricity requirement of the plant. Since 2006, we have also been using the waste process heat to heat the building.
2009
Takeover from grandson Kai Feil
Kai Feil joins Bleichhof as the grandson of founder Josef Wolf and son of Jörg Feil. He expands the fruit juice and dried fruit range.
2010
Asparagus peeling machines
In 2010, the first asparagus peeling machine is purchased. Since then, the free peeling service for their asparagus is available to our customers.
2011
Organic certification & Vegan fruit juices and dried fruits
Since 2011, the fruit juice and dried fruit production is certified organic. The fruit juice and dried fruit are produced without the addition of animal products and are therefore vegan.
2015
Weekly market Haßloch
Since 2015 we are at the Haßloch weekly market. Here we offer our assortment of fruits and vegetables as well as our fruit juices and dried fruits.
2016
Dual partner of the DHBW
In 2016, Bleichhof is approved as a dual partner of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University and trains the first DHBW student at the Mosbach site.
2017
In retail trade
Since 2016, we have been supplying food retailers with our apples, fruit juices and dried fruits.
2018
Registered trademark
Since 2018, "Bleichhof" is a registered word and figurative mark.
2018
Partner company nature conservationz
Since 2018, the Bleichhof fruit farm is a member of the "Partnerbetrieb Naturschutz" of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and acts according to its principles. You can find out more about this under the heading "We live nature conservation".
