Red, round and healthy!
Among the approximately 2000 apple varieties registered worldwide, there are only a few apples that also have a red-coloured fruit pulp. The apple variety "Weirouge" originated from a chance seedling in Weihenstephan and has been registered for European plant variety protection since 1997.
When cut, the flesh shows no discolouration for days, it remains strikingly beautiful red. Our "white-eye" apples can therefore be used to make wonderful products: Why not surprise yourself with a pink apple puree? We press deep red, aromatic apple juice from these apples. And our well-known apple chips are also a real eye-catcher with their red colour!
This apple variety, with the melodious name "Weirouge", is said to have high health-promoting flavonoids due to its red flesh, which are good for the human cardiovascular system. In addition, the red fruit flesh contains a high polyphenol value. Polyphenols, like other antioxidants, have anti-inflammatory and cancer-preventing effects.
All our juices contain only the fruit's own sweetness.
The fresh and tart experience is achieved without the addition of ascorbic acid. Our juices are only preserved by heating - the best from nature for the best juice.
